| PADI
DIVEMASTER TRAINING |
| Our
dedicated Divemaster Training Program, headed by Master
Instructor Stiofan McAilan, is
scheduled over 6-8 weeks. We offer a more relaxed Divemaster
schedule than most operators, which gives you a better
opportunity to see how a busy dive school is run, take
in a few more fun dives as well as spending more time
with your instructor and our team of divemasters.
Learn
to help impart that love of diving to people taking
their first breaths underwater and learn to celebrate
with them at the completion of their course. Crystal
Dive Resort wants you to participate on courses with
all of our instructors and on a wide variety of dive
courses and dive tours.
Working
with all of our experienced Master and IDC Staff Instructors
gives you a good overall view of different ways to teach
and guide divers.
The
Divemaster course involves developing your knowledge
of dive theory, assisting on a dive courses, to develop
control and problem-solving of diving activities; guiding
tours and map-making, underwater navigation and customer
relations.
The
Divemaster Program can be combined with the Master Scuba
Diver program, to receive great discounts and improve
job placement opportunities. |

ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR |
|
Participating
in the PADI Assistant Instructor course is not only
excellent preparation for an IDC but also makes you
a more employable Divemaster.
Upon
successful completion of all performance requirements
a fully certified Assistant Instructor is able to teach
the academic portion of all PADI courses as well as
independently conducting the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy
and Project AWARE Specialty courses, increasing both
your income and your overall dive experience.
With
further training you are also able to teach the Emergency
First Responder and Equipment Specialist courses. Scheduled
over five days we teach you how to plan, structure and
present effective academic, confined water and open
water presentations. We teach you how to control groups
of student divers and also look at valuable marketing
techniques associated with the PADI programs that you
will be certified to conduct upon certification.
Earning
credit towards the IDC we also offer internship programs
to successful candidates. |

| DAN
O2 Provider: (The DAN Course in Oxygen Provisions for
Dive Accidents) |

For
scuba professionals & dive enthusiasts
DAN offers the world's most popular Oxygen First Aid
program, launched in 1991. Until DAN developed its oxygen
training programs and line of emergency equipment, many
injured divers did not benefit from the use of emergency
oxygen. This course is an Australian "nationally
recognised" training program.
The
course consists of one 8 hour Unit of competency
(provide O2 in Dive Accidents) containing two four-hour
elements of Competency-Resuscitation & O2 Provision.
The
course is divided up into Knowledge Development,
Skill Development, Scenario’s and also has
a 25 question final exam. This course is a requirement
for Dive Professionals working in many area’s
around the world including Queensland in Australia.

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE INSTRUCTOR (EFRI) |

Being
an Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI) helps
you retain your students through their continuing education.
Certified Divemasters, AI and Instructors may enroll
in an Emergency First Response Instructor course.
The
course duration is one day and includes a buffet lunch.
EFR training is a prerequisite for many PADI courses.
You are also able to successfully market the EFR course
to non-divers.This course covers not only teaching EFR,
but an interesting and useful interactive teaching technique
that can be applied to your other courses.
